ExxonMobil Supports the "Engineering Upskill" Program by the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University

Bangkok—ExxonMobil Limited has supported the "Engineering Upskill" program organized by the Department of Computer Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University. The program, themed Generative Engineering, focuses on fostering an engineering mindset and aims to engage high school students interested in Computer Engineering.

On this occasion, Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin (2nd right), public & government affairs manager, and Woranun Sakulsiritarakul (1st right), public & government affairs advisor, ExxonMobil Limited, presented a 50,000-baht fund to Assoc. Prof. Yuen Poovarawan (3rd left), the lead instructor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Punpiti Piamsa-Nga (2nd left), Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaiporn Jaikaeo (1st left), a department faculty member.

The Engineering Upskill program is designed to provide high school students with hands-on learning experiences. Its goals include enhancing students' understanding of fundamental engineering principles and developing essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and real-world problem-solving. These competencies are crucial for aspiring engineers and aim to improve the competitiveness of Thai youth, thereby contributing to the country's sustainable development.
