How do you build a major industry from the ground up?

It takes a mix of talent, capability and experience. And when it comes to building an industry like CCS, we have the people with all three.

Hard-to-abate sectors—such as steel, cement, chemicals and power plants—account for around two-thirds of global, energy-related CO₂ emissions. Creating the technology and infrastructure to capture, transport and store that carbon could make a big dent in their emissions while they continue to meet society’s needs.

We’re working hard to explore CCS opportunities in Asia Pacific and beyond. And we are utilizing the strong technical skills available here in India to help build out CCS at a global scale.

Meet the people from our Bengaluru Campus, who are helping to drive the development of this new industry. We sat down with them to find out what they are doing, and what is still needed, to help take the CCS sector “from zero to one.”
