Houston, Texas - Memorial Hermann Life Flight
ExxonMobil contributed $5 million in 2024 to Memorial Herman Life Flight to provide people in need of critical air ambulance transport within a 250-mile radius of Houston’s Texas Medical Center. The new H145 helicopters will have larger cabin and cargo space, enhanced technology and safety features, increased fuel load, and shorter reconfiguration times — providing the capabilities of an intensive care unit in the sky.

Papua New Guinea - Port Moresby Ambulance Education Center
In collaboration with National St. John Ambulance Service, ExxonMobil Papua New Guinea provided funding in 2024 for a new Ambulance Education Center in Port Morseby. The center’s first group of twenty-five ambulance service recruits graduated in November. This new facility, coupled with the donation of an ambulance and bus, will help expand healthcare access to the local community.

Guyana - Specialists in Sustained Youth Development and Research Inc. (SSYDR)
ExxonMobil has supported Specialists in Sustained Youth Development and Research Inc. (SSYDR) since 2017. What began as a small initiative has grown into a transformative force, reaching over 1,000 young people across Guyana. Through programs like the Youth Empowerment Program, Employment Attack 102, and the Care to Independence Program, SSYDR equips youth with essential job readiness skills, coaching, and individualized livelihood planning. They also maintain mentorship of participants to build lifelong learning, leadership and livelihoods.

Baton Rouge - Drive Minority Business Accelerator
Baton Rouge Area Chamber launched the Drive Minority Business Accelerator, a year-long program to provide minority business owners with the tools they need for success. Powered by ExxonMobil funding, the program gives participants increased access to opportunities, administrative services, and coaching.
In 2024, 11 minority-owned businesses participated, collectively representing approximately $26.4 million in annual revenue and employing 155 full-time equivalent employees.
